A clear point of guidance when electrical work feels uncertain
Electrical problems can interrupt a home without warning. Homeowners are often asked to make important decisions while power is out, equipment is damaged or the cause is still unclear. Landmark Electric was built to make that experience more understandable.
We begin with the condition in front of us, explain what the findings support and present written, flat-rate options before approved work begins. The objective is not to sell the largest project. It is to give the customer a safe, appropriate path forward and stand behind the work that was authorized.

The Story Behind the Landmark Electric Logo
A Lighthouse on Solid Ground
Building a brand of trust, professionalism and integrity—and honoring an unwavering commitment to quality and customer-focused service—requires a symbol that means something. That is why Landmark Electric chose a lighthouse perched upon its rock-solid foundation.
A lighthouse is a beacon to those most in need. When visibility is poor and conditions are uncertain, its light provides guidance, direction and a visible path toward safe harbor. That light represents the clear answers, safety-first judgment and reliable service our customers should be able to expect from Landmark.
The rock represents strength, stability and integrity. It is the foundation beneath everything we do: preparation, precise workmanship, professional service and a commitment to stand behind our work.
Together, the lighthouse and rock represent what the Landmark name is intended to mean—trust, guidance, safety, reliability, precision and professional service. We do not just show up. We stand firm. We do not just fix problems. We light the way forward.

The purpose behind the promise
Why Landmark Electric Exists
The lighthouse in our logo represents more than our approach to electrical work—it represents why Landmark Electric was created. Drawing on more than 20 years in the electrical trade, Shawn A. Hickson founded Landmark with a clear mission: to change the experience customers have when they need an electrician.
Customers often come to us after poor experiences with unreliable electrical service—missed appointments, unfinished work, unexpected costs, and unresolved issues. Too often, they are left without clear explanations or lasting solutions, creating frustration and safety concerns. Landmark Electric was founded to change that experience by providing dependable service, transparent communication, and properly diagnosed, long-term solutions.
Our first responsibility is to educate our customers. We take the time to carefully evaluate the electrical system, identify what is actually happening, and then clearly explain our findings in a way that is easy to understand. We show the customer what we found, break down what caused the issue, and help them understand how the system is functioning as a whole. From there, we present clear, solution-focused options based on the on-site diagnosis and our professional experience. Pricing is always provided upfront so the customer can fully understand their choices and make an informed decision about the path forward that best fits their needs, priorities, and budget.
We do not believe in repairing only the visible effect when the condition that caused it can also be resolved. When the underlying cause can reasonably be identified and corrected, we find it, explain it, and address it. That is our job—to solve the right problem, protect the customer from repeated failures, and go further where others may have stopped.
Our mission is not simply to complete one service call. It is to earn lasting trust by providing clear communication, dependable workmanship, and solutions that place the customer’s safety and best interests first. We want to build relationships that continue for years and, ultimately, span generations.
