The electrical, fuel and site scopes must work together
A complete standby-generator project coordinates the generator location, clearances, mounting, electrical feeder, transfer equipment, grounding and bonding, service configuration, control wiring, fuel demand, gas-meter or regulator capacity, permits and startup requirements. Fuel-system work is completed by the appropriate licensed trade when it is outside Landmark's accepted scope.
Utility, municipal, manufacturer and property requirements can affect placement and scheduling. The written proposal identifies Landmark's electrical work, equipment supplied, customer responsibilities and work assigned to another contractor.
Maintenance and repair are separate from installation
Generator maintenance intervals depend on model, engine, operating hours and manufacturer instructions. Extended outage runtime can make service necessary before the next annual appointment. Landmark offers a one-time essential maintenance service and three generator maintenance plans with different inspection, testing, priority and dispatch benefits.
A no-start, failed exercise cycle, alarm, weak battery, transfer problem or fuel concern requires diagnosis. Maintenance parts do not automatically correct an operating fault, and diagnostic or repair work is separately authorized unless the written plan or service scope states otherwise.
