Master Electrician – Management Position

About the role

Landmark Electric is seeking a licensed Michigan Master Electrician to join its leadership team in a management-only capacity. The position does not require routine field service, tools or ladder work.

This role is central to electrical operations. You will help oversee job compliance, support technicians, strengthen project standards and work with leadership and office operations to keep Landmark's work aligned with applicable Michigan code, safety and inspection requirements.

What you will do

The responsibilities below define the primary focus of this position. Actual assignments depend on customer needs, licensing responsibilities and approved company procedures.

• Review and approve project scopes, electrical designs and field reports
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to licensed electricians and apprentices when apprentice positions are active
• Support compliance with the adopted Michigan Electrical Code and inspection readiness
• Serve as Landmark's qualifying Master Electrician for licensing and permitting responsibilities
• Collaborate with office staff on project planning, technician development and operational improvements
• Consult on complex electrical questions without a routine field-work requirement

What we are looking for

Landmark is looking for sound technical judgment, dependable follow-through and professional communication—not shortcuts or sales pressure.

• Active Michigan Master Electrician license
• At least five years of electrical field experience
• Leadership, inspection or project-oversight experience is preferred
• Strong working knowledge of the NEC, Michigan requirements, permitting and inspections
• Detail-oriented judgment and reliable documentation
• Professional communication and the ability to guide field and office team members
• Interest in transitioning from daily field production to a respected leadership role

Compensation, benefits and schedule

Compensation: $70,000+ annual salary based on qualifications, plus full benefits.
