Master Electrician – Field Leadership Role

About the role

Landmark Electric believes in craftsmanship, integrity and a team environment where electrical expertise is respected. This role is for a licensed Michigan Master Electrician who wants to combine hands-on service work with leadership and technical oversight.

The position blends daily field production with mentorship, code compliance, permitting, inspections and licensing responsibilities. It is designed for a Master Electrician who wants to lead by example while helping Landmark and its electricians grow.

What you will do

The responsibilities below define the primary focus of this position. Actual assignments depend on customer needs, licensing responsibilities and approved company procedures.

• Perform electrical maintenance, service, repairs and installations for residential and commercial projects
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues with professionalism and accuracy
• Ensure work aligns with the NEC, Michigan requirements, approved scope and local inspection expectations
• Provide oversight and mentorship to journeymen and apprentices when apprentice positions are active
• Manage and support permitting, inspections and licensing responsibilities
• Help evaluate complex projects and strengthen technical standards across the field team
• Represent the Landmark brand with integrity, clear communication and high-quality workmanship

What we are looking for

• Active Michigan Master Electrician license
• Proven residential and commercial service, repair and installation experience
• Strong knowledge of electrical code, permitting and inspection processes
• Ability to lead by example and mentor licensed electricians and developing team members
• Professional customer communication and a solution-focused service mindset
• Own the hand tools required for the role
• Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company-insurance requirements

Compensation, benefits and schedule

Compensation: Starting at $150,000+ based on experience, plus full benefits.

Consistent Monday–Friday schedule with occasional emergency or weekend calls based on customer needs and the position's leadership responsibilities.
