Is pool bonding the same as grounding?
No. Pool equipotential bonding and equipment grounding perform different safety functions. A pool project may require both, along with GFCI protection and disconnects.
Does a hot tub need a dedicated circuit?
Most fixed spas and hot tubs require power based on their nameplate and instructions. Landmark reviews the equipment, feeder or circuit, GFCI and disconnect requirements for the specific model.
Can I reuse the old circuit for replacement equipment?
Only after verifying rating, conductor size, protection, disconnects, bonding, condition and manufacturer requirements. A replacement unit can require a different design.
